Roofing Contractor in Newnan.
Newnan is home base for Griffintegrity Roof & Remod, and it's where the bulk of our roofing and remodeling calls come from week to week.
Griffintegrity Roof & Remod, Inc. is a Newnan, Georgia roofing and remodeling company handling roof replacement, repair, storm and hail damage, gutters, siding, and additions for homes across Coweta County. If your Newnan roof needs a look, you can call us or request a free inspection and get a straight answer on what it needs.
Is your Newnan roof showing hail bruising, wind-lifted shingles, or a roof that's simply outlived its material life?
Newnan sits in a corridor that gets hit by both hail and high straight-line winds most years, and those two forces show up on a roof in different ways. Hail bruises the shingle mat and knocks off granules without always leaving an obvious hole, while wind lifts, creases, or tears shingles and ridge caps loose at the edges and around vents. On top of that, plenty of Newnan homes are carrying roofs that have simply aged past what asphalt shingles are built to handle, and that combination is what brings most of our Newnan calls in.
Roofing services in Newnan
Roof Replacement & Installation
When a Newnan roof is past its useful life, we handle a full tear-off and install a new Owens Corning shingle or metal system. Most single-family homes in Newnan are finished in a single day, weather and roof complexity permitting.
Roof Repair
Leaks, curled or missing shingles, and small holes get diagnosed and fixed before they turn into water damage inside a Newnan home. We track down where a leak is actually coming from instead of just patching where it shows up.
Storm & Hail Damage Repair
After a storm moves through Newnan, we get on the roof, document what we find, and meet your insurance adjuster if a claim makes sense. If the damage doesn't warrant a claim, we tell you that and quote a simple, honest fix instead.
Gutters & Metal Fabrication
We fabricate and install seamless gutters, metal fascia, panels, awnings, and finials to finish a Newnan roofing job the right way. Proper gutters keep water moving away from the foundation instead of pooling where it can cause damage.
Siding
From a single damaged wall to a full re-side, we install and repair siding that seals a Newnan home against wind-driven rain and improves curb appeal. Siding and roofing work as one system to keep water out, so we treat them that way.
Remodeling & Additions
Kitchens, bathrooms, garages, decks, screen rooms, and additions in Newnan get handled start to finish by the same crew you already trust on your roof. One team across the whole project means one point of contact and one standard of work.
What Newnan roofs are up against
The National Weather Service office that forecasts for this part of Georgia sits in nearby Peachtree City, and its climatology puts damaging wind at an average of 19 days a year across the region, with July the busiest month. That same office notes straight-line winds inside a thunderstorm can top 100 mph, strong enough to do damage that looks a lot like a tornado hit.
Newnan has already seen the extreme end of that risk firsthand. On the night of March 25 into March 26, 2021, an EF-4 tornado with winds up to 170 mph tracked roughly 39 miles through Heard, Coweta, and Fayette counties and into Newnan itself, where National Weather Service survey teams recorded homes stripped clean of their roofs. It was only the tenth EF-4 ever recorded in Georgia in seven decades.
Large hail shows up too, averaging about 7 days a year across north and central Georgia with April as the peak month, and the region overall sees 45 to 55 thunderstorm days a year. Georgia's Office of Commissioner of Insurance tells homeowners that wind damage is normally covered under a standard homeowner's policy, and that after hail, the homeowner is responsible for protecting the roof from further damage until an adjuster assesses the loss, so keep receipts for any temporary work.
Georgia also does not license roofers at the state level. The Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division confirms roofers are among the specialty trades the state doesn't require to be licensed, so it falls on a Newnan homeowner to check a contractor's insurance and track record before signing anything.
Tap the spot that's giving you trouble.
Homes in Moreland, Sharpsburg, and Grantville run into the same wind, hail, and aging-roof issues Newnan does, and we serve those towns just as regularly.
Why Newnan homeowners call Griffintegrity Roof & Remod
Griffintegrity Roof & Remod, Inc. has been in business for 10 years, is fully licensed and insured, and has held a BBB A+ rating since 2017. Owner Scott Griffin built the company as an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, which means the crew has passed a workmanship inspection and installs a full manufacturer-backed roofing system rather than piecing one together. We're open Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, roof inspections and quotes are free, and our work is backed by a 10 year no-leak warranty on top of manufacturer material coverage.
How much does a roof replacement cost in Newnan?
Cost depends mainly on roof size, pitch, material choice, and how much of the decking underneath needs to be replaced once we get the old roof off. We give free inspections and a straight, itemized quote before any work starts, and we also offer financing options so cost isn't a reason to put off a needed replacement.
Do I need a new roof or just a repair in Newnan?
It depends on whether the damage is isolated or spread across the whole roof, and how much life is left in the existing shingles. A localized leak or a small patch of wind damage is usually a repair, while widespread granule loss, multiple leak points, or a roof already near the end of its expected life usually points toward replacement, and we'll tell you which one your roof actually needs.
How do I find a reliable roofing contractor in Newnan?
Check that the contractor is licensed and insured, since Georgia doesn't license roofers at the state level, and look for manufacturer certifications and an accredited rating from a group like the BBB. Ask for a free inspection before committing to anything, and be wary of anyone pushing you to file an insurance claim before they've actually looked at the roof.
